That is the stupidest shit i have ever heard. You will not go faster on a 12 bolt. The few lbs of difference will not be noticed. Then someday you will have a broke 12bolt for no good reason. Especially god forbid you ever make some real power. Your car so do what you want but as a friend im just telling you its stupid.
My buddy shaun just spent 600 bucks redoing his 12 bolt cause it took a shit on him after a year. And this is on only a mid 12 second car launched on DRs, no slicks.
it really makes me consider the 325-50-15 over the 28x10.5w slicks i was going to run. I really hate the way the slicks feel on the big end. But im not so sure i want to bother trying to launch a 6sp with 600+hp on a radial.

I know i have been fighting the battle for years. I ran a set a of 27x11.5x15in hoosier qtps last season and was getting 1.5s out of them but i wasnt all that impressed with them at all. Im thinking a 28x10.5w slick is going to be my next tire.
