FACKING PARTY. o sorry…just getting excited for the weekend…
Pfft…MOST of the guys at the meet didn’t have cars as fast the SRT-4’s, and those guys are the ones that hate on them. Don’t get me wrong as I’m not really a Dodge fan, and the neon is an especially poorly put together car, but 2.4L Turbo + Quaife LSD = respect in my book.
It was one of the cars on my shopping list before the Spec, and if my car got wrecked and I had to new car shop, it’d be on my list. Of course, I wouldn’t bother with a new car - I’d just get a beater and a nice GTR.

The thing I don’t like is when people talk a lot of BS with no backup. No dude in a N/A Civic should ever be talking crap about an SRT-4.
See, I’m weird in the car world - because I just love cars. Domestic, Import, Compact, Muscle, Luxury, Mini Vans, SUVs, I love them all. I hate 780 Tuners because it isn’t like that. I don’t hate a guy in a Trans Am because it’s powered by a v8, and I don’t hate a guy that takes his Civic and makes it run 12’s with a 1.8L motor.
I’m not one to suggest that all car guys just get along, or some shit like that, but I just wish everyone would give certain cars their due. And no, the Spec V isn’t on that list.
I bet the 240 could beat the Skyline in the 1/4 - if the 240 got a running start at the line of about 80K! Even then, it would still be damn close.
WOW all this raggin on 240’s when your spec with I/H/E could barely beat a stock one with 235xxx kms. 
Uhh…didn’t I have two cars on you by the top of third when you were only in 2nd? :E And didn’t an s14 lose in a heads up race against Mike’s pickup?
Besides dude, I need some friendly competition amongst something in the club since there aren’t enough Specs to talk shit about.

Almost anything F/I would beat me. I wouldn’t race a turbo car until I get my motor mounts in (should be at Speedworks next week.).
