I just realized it’s only the $3500 Quaife 6 speed synchro gearset in a normal case. I was thinking of the Quaife 6 speed complete tranny which is 18-21 grand. 3500 is actually pretty cheap for a strong 6 speed synchro set. Kaaz and others charge more than that.
Not sure if that’s the transmission PT was talking about or not, but he mentioned getting a sequential dogbox I believe…
We shall see. I can’t wait to check it out how it is now. :tup:

That’s about $14-16k right there…
At this point, (I assume b/c its not listed) his weak link is the half shafts. Hopefully, he has or is putting in some DSS stg.3 or higher shafts.
Quaife gearset is nice, and strong but has seen a few cases of failure on the strip.(Probably driver error). I, honestly, would want the longer gears of the 5 spd for the boost. My stock 5spd. first gear is useless, so he must have a rowboat in there.
