I personally think that all the mods should have equal power, and that us members vote on the mods. We should also have mods that represent us from our local home town in order to help support the local needs of each member.
This being said I also think that there should be two rival racing gangs. These two gangs would be the q-tips (28 and over), and the sideway revivals (under 28). When one turns 28 they must run their car on a road coarse and meet a set time. If this time is not reached that person must do 500 jumping jacks to get into the q-tips or they are banned for life.
Seriously though, its a forum. I think everyone needs to take a step back and evaluate anything that goes on here. There is a ton of great info about cars on here and loads of guys that know more then I ever will. This is a very useful tool to have in ones hands, should we destroy it? There is also a level of entertainment from the OT that I enjoy. Who really cares if there is some bandwagon and drama going on. If you dislike it don’t read it, or better yet turn off your computer.
I think that the way people ask questions develops the responses to a point. If I ask where a cam sensor is on my car in general auto I highly doubt anyone will bust out drama on me. I will probably get 3-5 responses telling me where I can find it or advice on how to change it. Now on the other hand if I post in general auto that Chevy’s are the best cars in the universe, I expect there to be a bit of drama.
All in all, I think that forums should be open and free. I don’t think anyone should be banned for life. In response to drama in the for sale adds; this is not a business, you shouldn’t expect solid sale instantly. People will voice their opinion on what your selling and you should accept this or offer a response.
Awh I don’t know.
Age thing- I’m 22 and have been working in my field for about 2 years. I feel I am pretty professional in my responses to things, but I also like to have fun and laugh. I really don’t care if I misspell afrodesiak the one time I use it, I am not a spell checker and don’t really care. I have though owned in excess of 25 cars and believe that I have a bit of automotive information and fun to add to this forum.
I also really love a good grilled hot dog. Especially in winter when I don’t really feel like grilling. There is this nice cheap place on route 5 in wood lawn called Curt’s that I love going to that is really cheap. They also freeze their mugs so your pop is really cold. They offer all regular pops along with cream soda and birch beer.
