The government is going to extend the first-time home buyers credit for another 6 months, which means if I sell my car, I can pretty much pay for half of a new house, and get the closing costs back, so… I am going to list this up here and see what interest I can get! The car is paid for, no liens, it’s in perfect condition, not a single problem. It is an 11.0 drag car consistently, and cuts 1.4 60’ times. It is reliable, accurate, and dialed in!
Here is the information about the car, from my personal website:
2003 Evolution
VIN: JA3AH86F43U102100
83,108 miles
About the car:
I picked up this car in Binghamton NY in July of 2008. It was a really good deal, and red is a rare color around here for the Evo, so I figured I would pick it up for a daily driver. I am spending my time fixing up small body things, and doing basic mods to free up the engine a little bit.
The car is now getting ready to be put away for the winter months. The body has been cleaned up great, buffed out, and waxed. The trunk was replaced under the factory corrosion warranty. The trunk lid developed a hole where the spoiler was mounted, so they gave me a new trunk, emblems, and painted it for me. With the addition of the new Enkei wheels, the Evo 7 tails, the stubby antenna, and a wonderful detail by a local shop, the car looks like a million bucks.
On 3/27/09, I went up to our local Evo experts, Street Tuned Motorsports for some dyno tuning. First we found a boost leak from the Greddy blow off valve I had, so after swapping that out for an OEM Evo 9 blow off valve, we had no boost leaks, and were able to tune the car. After some tuning, the car made 267 awhp on a Mustang Dyno at 22 psi. I am very happy with the car, and it is at a safe boost, timing, and fuel level, and runs perfect. This is a great place to be for the upcoming Summer months!
On 6/12/09, I had Street Tuned Motorsports install my Buschur Bushwacker transmission, Exedy triple plate clutch, and tune my AEM EMS. The car is absolutely perfect now. It drives better than stock, made over 310 awhp on their Mustang Dyno, and shifts like butter. The clutch is good to 800 ft/lb, so it is extremely grippy, but it is still very streatable. I drove it over 100 miles this past weekend, and it is a wonderful, fun setup. I could not be more happy with how the car turned out.
On 7/25/09, I had Street Tuned Motorsports work on my car once again. Their great work makes me continue to come back to them. I purchased a set of Kelford 272/272 cams and Supertech springs and titanium retainers, and had them install them into my car. While the cams were out, they also went and replaced my original timing belt with a new OEM one. My front differential was acting up, so I purchased a low mileage transfercase, and they installed that for me as well. While that was out, I figured now would be a great time to install a set of motor mounts, so I went with the Avid motor mounts. Lastly, we replaced the factory head bolts with a set of ARP head studs. After these mods, Emery tuned my car on both 93 and 100 octane tunes. Check out these numbers!

As of 10/13/09, this car is the 4th quickest and 5th fastest stock turbo Evo in the world! With the exact same tune as above, I managed to run a 11.010 @ 124.55 mph at NYIRP, and then back it up with a 11.036 @ 124.49! The best 60’ the car has pulled so far is a 1.480, which is flying out of the hole! The only thing that has changed in the past few months is the addition of a built transfercase from Jon at TRE, and then the use of Cory at STM’s wheels and tires. They are 15 x 8" Rota Slipstreams wrapped in 26 x 9.5 x 15 Hoosier Quick Time Pro slicks. I am doing a pretty good burnout in the water box, and then launching off of the 2-step with 9 psi of boost. I can’t wait to see how the car does next year once I start to add mods! The car is currently a race weight of 2775 pounds, and a street weight of 2850.

Here are a slew of photos of the car:
I would like to get $19,500 . This would also include a huge box of factory parts that I have removed from the car! Let me know what you guys think.
This would also come with my stock ECU and maf, so that you can unplug the AEM EMS, plug in my stock PCM, and pass inspection! It passes every time, you just need to plug in the MAF and stock PCM.
Again, I don’t need to sell at all, it’s my toy, but if I sell this, I can put down a lot more towards the house I am going to buy!
