I am selling the Olds engine out of my 65 pontiac with the transmission as i have a pontiac engine to go back in it.

Here is the scoop…

1973 engine

Forged pistons, dont know what kind

Factory rods and factory crank

.30 over

Edelbrock performer intake

Brand new 750 Q-Jet carb

268 cam

I think Hedman or Hooker headers, cant remember which

3000 stahl converter

Long tail TH400 with shift kit.

The engine only has around 4k miles on it since being rebuilt. However, it looks dirty because the car sat outside for 8 years untill i bought it back this summer.

This engine runs EXTREMELY strong with solid oil pressure

This car weighs 4600lbs, but yet at 30 mph just kicking the 4 barrell in will ROAST the tires!

Feel free to come for a ride in the car before snow hits. I will pull engine as soon as someone wants it. Im keeping it in for purpose of hearing it run and test drives.

I would estimate 425 hp. Probably VERY high 4’s torque.

I know they are low compression heads. 8.5-1 I had a guy look at it at cruise night this summer who was an olds guy but i dont remember what he said. Im sure if you come look at it you will know

Come on. I have seen plenty of slow ass olds cuttys at lancaster with small block olds engines. Get rid of that small block and put a big block in. Some sticky tires will net you low 8’s all day!

if your selling the engine why would you show us pictures of the car? wouldnt someone want to see pictures of the engine instead? i say you fail.
