FS- 1985 M/B Turbo diesel wagon

I’ve got an 85 Mercedes wagon that I just won’t have time to get to. It’s a good runner, and has 175k or so I drove it back from CT without issue… mostly everything works, and the engine is tight and does not smoke or make any unusual noises.
I have a pretty decent service history for the car, and with a little work could last another 20 years
the good-
-dash is crack free-
-engine/trans is very tight
-well maintained
-Self leveling rear suspension works

The car will need some work like I said-
-its got some rust issues- mainly around the rear wheel wells and rockers. the frame and underside is pretty solid, and the body parts are available for about 250-300$ (I’ve sourced them all)
-it will need tires ASAP
-the brakes are just a little weak. may need to be bled, or the calipers in the rear may be sticking, not sure.

all and all, a good car, I just won’t have time to get to it.

asking 2300 or BO.http://www.ultimatekayakfishing.com/forums/uploads/1191547618/med_gallery_308_57_153528.jpghttp://www.ultimatekayakfishing.com/forums/uploads/1191547618/med_gallery_308_57_200967.jpghttp://www.ultimatekayakfishing.com/forums/uploads/1191547618/med_gallery_308_57_214879.jpg

GLWS

<-------Calls wife for permission…

…Wife requests picture…

Permission denied, wife does not want to drive the Odyssey (I would drive the MB)

They rarely make these in 5 spd… my father has 3 of them lol…

all auto… I may be interested, If not my father or brother would be

both make bio diesel and have grease cars, I might as well join the family bandwagon

SHUT THE FUCK UP

gah, diesel automatics are almost worthless, they kick down way to easy and they get shitty mpgs compared to a manual.

And with the manual you can keep revs low and use the turbo to pull you through.

An awesome project though for anyone! just search for those 2 MB diesels on you tube that are blowing donuts and drifting.
