i just did $1000 of work to the cooling system (2 new rad fans, new fan sensor, new rad, fixed the faulty temp gauge) only to find out the head-gasket is probably blown. car is over-heating every time it runs. it’s not worth it to me to fix the car, nor am i interested in doing so, so i’m selling it AS IS.
i drove the car daily until last week when the headgasket blew. never gave me any problems until then, and is good on gas. gets anywhere from 330-400 miles to a tank depending on driving conditions. passed a safety in September '09 with no problems. great platform to build upon. fix the motor, do a motor swap to a 3.0, turbo 2.5, or if you’re brave, an LSX. or if you have the time and space (which i don’t), part it out and you can make a ton of money.
