Anyone who is interested in the vehicle call Eshwar Jagdeo at 432-6822 or 232-7845. If anyone wants to view the actual vehicle just call Eshwar or e-mail me and we can arrange it to be viewed at the dealership, its a private sale, we just conveniently work there. (Kentwood Ford 13344-97 st.)
The price is seriously not firm, all you have to do is throw us an offer as long as its not a hardcore low ball, he’s quite flexible on how much he can let this one go for.
new asking price $7600.00
Just trying to be helpful, but I think the blue book on that car is something like $1800 US if it’s in ‘Excellent’ condition. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Agreed with DarrylBleau… just being helpful… there’s an SR swapped 240 with a bunch of mods a few threads down for $6000 obo. It needs some TLC but it should give you an idea of what they’re selling for.
He’s open to offers, if anyone is still interested just give him a shout and give him an offer or post an offer up here.
Well, because I’m in the market for a 240 and I haven’t been entirely impressed with the few swapped cars I’ve looked at I’ve been considering doing my own swap so… I’d offer you (or him, whatever) maybe a few hundred over blue book if it’s in decent shape. I’m sorry if that’s a lot lower than initial asking but I’m not trying to lowball… just being realistic.
Unfortunately the majority of the time market demand trumps blue book. 240s are very, very hot right now and we all know why. Some kid will probably snap that car right up, that’s why it’s not uncommon for them to go this high now. I’ve seen cars in worse condition than this one go for more. Except on a board like this, the consumers are more…“conoiseuring” (sp?) with these cars because they know how much they’re really worth. Still, I wouldn’t expect to find a car in condition like this very near the blue book price. It doesn’t help that 240s aren’t very common in Alberta either. They’re more rare than 350Zs nowadays.

Ya man it is very hard to find a 240sx in good shape with no rust, and even remotely close to blue book value. The more done to these types of cars the more you can get for them. I’ve had cars where you can pour money into it and expect to never see it again when ya sold the car!!
Good luck in the hunt!! My hunt took me a few months till I found the one I wanted!! AND… I had to drive like an hour and half to go pick mine up!!
Keep posts on topics or they will be deleted. Everyone has a right to their own opinions. Good luck with the sale.
fyi, its Black Book in Alberta, not blue…
The deal is open to offers and we both work at car dealerships so we know what we’re talking about that is why we are both open to offers and negotiations. If you are serious about purchasing this 240sx or you wish to view it in person, contact Eshwar, his phone number is in the posts somewhere up above or PM me and we can arrange an appointment where you come in, look at the car, test drive and see what we can do for you.
New asking price of $5800.00
