Honda Prelude Si 4ws 1990 5-speed. I bought the car for $1500, 5 months ago, and have put close to $3000 in it. Milage is 40K on B21a engine(Cluster says 196K), 500 MILES on rebuilt transmission. Sunroof, Power windows, Power Locks, tinted windows, New gas tank, power steering resently re-installed, cd player, and stupid little shit (steering wheel, shift knob). There is some rust on the typical Honda 1/4 panels.
-Short Throw Shifter
-2.5" Custom Exhaust to a 4" titanium muffler
-Brembo slotted/drilled rotors F&R
-Generic Short Ram Intake
-Exedy Stage One Clutch
-Exedy Lightened Flywheel
-Eibach Springs
and i’m sure i forgot some.I drive it daily to and from work. The only problem is with the cluster. The fuel gauge works, but no other gauges work. I have a autometer tach and an autometer temp gauge in it at the moment. Runs and drives great. Need to sell! Just got another car! $1000 OBO

40k on it since a rebuild, or is it an entirely different engine from another car?
40k on engine. not rebuilt. need this thing gone, make me an offer.
ok. the 4WS thing totally, was not something i was expecting. here’s a wiki article that expands on it  very interesting:
siqqqq handling.
if someone buys this, i have a front and rear strut tower bar in my garage from my 89 prelude. $20. LOL
Even better handling then before!
I hope it stays local and on the boards. I miss my lude
is the rear wheel crooked in that pic because of an illusion or because of 4WS?

thats the 4WS system.
I wonder how fun that’d be at auto-x…
In 1987, Road & Track published a test summary that shows the 1988 Honda Prelude 2.0Si 4WS out slalomed every car of that year, including all Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and Porsches. It went through the slalom at 65.5 mph, which was amazing in those days. For reference, the 1988 Corvette did the same at 64.9 mph.
bump for that!
weres this car located at possibly interested hows the underside of the car
the car is located in Scottsville, near Rochester. the underbody isn’t in the best shape, but it doesn’t have any problems.
i know someone out there wants a 4 wheel steering ricer. i can go as low as $1300.
