I have a 1990 Nissan 240sx hatchback, Pretty much a parts car,AS it has been owned by more than 6 different people that i know of… Need it gone asap! Have a truck i really want! Its 5 speed, rear wheel drive, 4 cylinder, Single overhead,and its lowerd. It has 270XXX kms on body, Not to sure about motor as it was swapped, Still have extra motor and tranny if really wanted. Have Four extra rims and tires, Have an extra hatch ( as it leaks), rear quater panels off my old scrap 240. New wires, spark plugs, distributer cap, New rear brake lines just two weeks ago!, oil changed not even a month ago and hasnt even been driven so its pretty much brand new ( synthetic oil ). New windsheild installed about a year ago.
The bad : When i got the brake lines done, the mechanics found out both rear caliper are done, Both rubber boots around the cylinder were torn and bleeder screw was broken on one of them, As i didnt have enough money at the time i told them just to take them off and bought repair kits for them… Rebuilt myself… One caliper is fucked as the bleeder screw is broken on one of them and i cant get it out and also broke e-brake lever bolt… So i have it with the tires on but no calipers for now. so it would have to be on a trailer
Need some body work on quater panels as well as Exhaust work as the previous owner was def. Cracked… Really should have done my reaserch before i bought this car as i didnt no what to look for.
Recentally started having an idle problem so i started removed the Intake manifold and cleaned it i was suggested to clean that aswell as the iacv ( idle air control valve) and that should solve it, But as winter crept up on me i havent gotten to put it back in, Tooo Cold!!!
Definatly needs body work! around the rear quater panels, I have another set of quaters panels all re-made for it just dont have welder! Also Frame definatly needs some patching.
