FS: 1990 Pulsar GTiR

For sale is my recently aquired 1990 Nissan Pulsar GTI-R
I bought her a couple months ago and shes been amazing!
I dont want to sell her but the CRA has pinned me down and is asking for
a lot of money! So im forced to sell!! The car is SUPER FUN! I seriously
love this car!! and i plan on getting another one as soon as my financial
situation clears up!! Ive got nothing to hide so here she is straight up!

cosmetically the car is nice… has some scratches on the roof from
shipping as well as a dent on the driver side rear quarter. the interior is
clean and well kept. Headliner is sagging a bit on the sides. The power
sunroof works but the previous owner sealed it shut for some reason!

The car will also need to have the alternator rebuild… the alternator
bearing is making some noise. the belts are new however (non AC)

There is also a small exhaust leak at the flex part of the downpipe.

The front brakes are pretty worn, easy and cheap to replace (NX2000
brakes are identical) rear brakes are in excellent condition! The ebrake
works but sometimes sticks if pulled too hard.

The car was not tracked or raced in the short time ive had it, i tried my
best to take good care of it. Shes a great car and definately a head
turner! RHD FTW!

The price im asking reflects the work that needs to be done. As you can
see for yourself its by far the lowest price of GTIR on the market! and im
taking a hit (which is to be expected) from the price that i bought it at!

  • In regards to the front brakes…is it just pads and rotors that need to be replaced? Or will the caliper need a rebuild?
  • How much PSI is it running at? How much were you previously running?
  • What else so you think it will need for a safety?

I have the wheels off as i removed the alternator to get it rebuilt… and looking at the pads they seem just fine… it might just be the rotors that need changing!

As for boost… its running at and always has been at stock boost .7kmcm2 = ~10psi
the boost gauge mentioned isnt installed yet. (forgot to write that in)

and as far as the safety goes all it needs is the front brakes and like i said possibly the hand brake as it sticks a bit sometimes if pulled up too high… other than that needs nothing at all!

I went and viewed the car, as well as test drove it.
If I had got approved for a loan, this car would not be for sale any longer…

Mechanically in excellent condition, there are a few minor cosmetic issues that have already been mentioned (i.e. scratches on roof from shipping). A brief test drive left me grinning all day. Great price on a great vehicle.

If its still there mid to end summer consider it sold looking for a winter car and am stuck between a pulsar and a evo 1, will book mark and stalk this thread if you still got it well talk.

UPDATE!

the car is still for sale… i have since replaced the alternator with a fresh new rebuilt one… all it needs as of right now is front rotors and a handbrake cable.

Price is still $5000 obo… but by best offer i mean highest bidder. Meaning i WONT go below 5K! I may however be interested in some trades… no S-chasis please! or skylines please (been there, done that!) looking for a reliable 4door with some fun/sex appeal! +/- cash can be negociated!

i have a 2002 S60 turbo 4 door volvo fully loaded heated leather etc. etested is still good runs clean will need front rotors and the break lines for the front to bled (which is a part of changing front rotors) has 16XXXX k’s on it no issues or problem with this car at all,but you will have to add some cash on top let me know thanx
