Exterior -
Dent in fender.
the car is a 92, 2 years ago it won the award of excellence @ the River Show.
Interior -
2 small/medium rips in the driver seat, can be seen in pics. 1 on but, 1 on bolster.
back seats, passenger, carpets, hatch area, all perfect. Seatbelt spings work when they want to.
Suspension -
Active suspension is flaky, stuck in sport mode. I never looked into it cause I drive in sport mods anyway.
Active Aero -
Front spoiler is thought to be broke, so it was disconnected. I never looked into it.
Drivetrain -
Starts, and runs great. Idle problem I think is associated with the ABS controller. ABS fue is pulled, but it doesn’t bother me that much, so I leave it be. I think there may be a loose motor mount, or a bad mount, or it is a tranny mount. The transmission from the inside seems to have moved over an inch or so, maybe its just me, but it didn’t feel normal. 2nd gear is a bitch when it is cold out, that just started recently, the tranny was just rebuilt with all new parts about 10k ago (over $2k). Other than 2nd being funny sometimes (will not effect normal driving when warm), the tranny is perfect, and still feels like new. Transfer Case is locked up. Common problem with these cars, you might have more luck with getting the recall performed than I did. It was already performed on the car, but it is a lifetime/saftey recall, so go to a dealership other than Dan Georger and get it done. I think someone on here has connections for a dealership that will get it done. Dealer said that the driveshaft needed carrier bearings, I’ve been driving it for a while and haven’t had any problems. Bearings are cheap, buying a used DS off of PheonixDX is cheaper.
If you want more details, call me. The car is in the driveway, it will not move, but I can start it and show off the interior (once I clean it).
If you buy the car for 6k, you will not be disappointed. Put a small amount of money into it, some time, and enjoy a very sweet car, that is fast, and handles incredibly for less than you could buy it already fixed for. In all honesty, if it wasn’t me selling it, it would be me buying it. If you want it as it sits, gimme some money down, before I fix that stuff (TC, fender) and jack up the price to where it should be.

Apparently for me to get the rate I need on that house I have to free up some debt. I’m not sure exactly why, but thats what she tells me. If you wait a couple months you should be able to sell this car in the summer for about 7500-8500 bucks. All you have to do it put it up on e-bay. I can’t wait that long. I need it gone ASAP. I owe $6k on it, and I have about 2x that much into it.
As it sits, the car is not drivable, but it will start and run perfectly. If you wanted to bring a jack, some stands, and a few tools, I can swap transfer cases in about 20 minutes, and then you can take it for a test drive.
Please spread the word, if you sell this for me I’ll give you $100.
