i know it’s hard to ask, but please do not bash my thread if you are not interested in the car.
first of all, i’m pretty sure everybody is wondering why this car could be street legal. the friend i bought it from hired a lawyer to take care of all the paper work. the car is currently registered as a 'kit car/rebuilt" title and a new vin plate was issued by the ministry of transportation (there are several integra type R’s and GC8 impreza rhd’s that are registered the same way). this car has a straight chassis and has not been into an accident involving a write off. the car originally brought in by jdm engine land i believe.
this vehicle does not need anything mechanically, everything works besides the AC (which would just take a recharge). on the body, there are a few scuffs here and there from being in a containership, all of which are very minor and i have lived with it without being bothered. there is a dent on the left hand side rear quarter, quoted $300 to fix by both GT Auto works (in scarborough) and M’s Auto body (in markham)
the clock reads 207,000km’s, i initially bought it at 200,400km’s and i am honestly not sure if that is actual mileage on the vehicle. aside from that the motor does not consume any fluids, there are no oil or exhaust leaks and most importantly, the t28 turbo is in immaculate shape.
the price reflects the car being sold certified and emissions tested. during the process of registering the vehicle, it passes structural, safety and emissions test as is.
