Well, it’s been 5 and a half years since I bought her, and it’s finally time to move on. Most members who have been around for the last few years (especially the west-enders) will remember this car.
Unfortunately, it has not been running since I sold the turbo kit that I had pieced together for it. I was going to put a new motor and transmission in and keep driving it, but I decided to move on.
The car:
1995 Nissan 240sx LE
267,xxxkm
5 speed
Exterior:
SE trunk lid (no spoiler)
Z32 300zx N/A wheels
15% tint all around
Rear 1/4 panels professionally repaired (rusted areas cut out. new metal welded in)
Interior:
Sparco Sprint Jr. driver’s seat
SE cloth passenger and rear seats
Razo RA25 shift knob
Panasonic MP3 CD deck
JL Audio 6.5" front speakers
Drivetrain:
RPS 6 puck clutch and pressure plate (under 10k on it)
OBX Short throw shifter
Suspension:
Suspension Techniques swaybars (front and rear)
Bings rear subframe spacers
Brakes:
300zx front brakes (aluminum calipers)
Remanufactured OEM rear calipers (installed 1.5 years ago)
New rotors and Hawk HPS pads all around (less than 10k)
The body and frame of this car are very clean for a 14 year old car with 267k. The absolute only rust to speak of on the car is on the pinch weld at the 4 jack spots (picutred).
This is a great project car for someone. Or if you just want a comfortable daily driver, spend $400 on a fresh motor and transmission and voila!
