95 Rodeo, 3.2 SOHC V6, 5 speed manual, 4WD, auto locking hubs, power windows, mirrors, locks (however the locks don’t work), cruise control, cold a/c, rear defrost, AM/FM cassette, motor/transmission/transfer case all work perfect. New Firestone Destination LE tires (good tires) 5K miles ago. Last spring it got a new starter. New plugs and wires, windshield wipers last fall. Have reciepts for other items recently changed like brakes, battery, belts. Just changed the oil/filter a few weeks ago. A great daily/winter car. Handles the snow with ease. Starts up every time, never had it die on me or leave me stranded.
It does have a couple issues. Rear tailgate does not lock and the rear wiper is missing. I drove it through the winter like this and didnt really see the need to have it fixed. The window is heavy enough so that it doesnt leak. The rear door handle mechanisims have broken and the rear doors don’t open. I’ve read about this on a Rodeo forum and people fix the issue easily, but I never use the back seats so I didn’t bother fixing them. Pretty easy to get into the back seats by moving the front seats forward like a 2 door car. Also the drivers side door lock is siezed and the key cannot be inserted into the lock, leaving the door unlockable. Call me if you want to take a look/drive it, 315-506-8930 ask for Jeff, I’m in Tonawanda.
