FS: 1996 Honda Prelude S

I think I’m going to try and sell the Lude. I really want to get my wife a new CRV for our family vehicle and the only way for us to do that at this point, is to sell the lude.

Here are some specs:
1996 Honda Prelude S (Base Model) F22A
Black exterior / Black interior
5 Speed
86,6XX miles
Air Conditioning
Cruise Control
Power Moon Roof
16" Upgraded OEM Alloy wheels w/ extra set of 15" steelies wrapped with Blizzak snow tires
OEM CD Player mounted beneath OEM Tape Deck
OEM Fog Lights

This car has been meticulously maintained since day 1 of its existence! I am the 2nd owner and I have pretty much ALL of the receipts from the service work that has been done to the car. The previous owner only brought it to the Honda dealer to get any of the work done and only added OEM honda parts when getting serviced or upgraded.

The only aftermarket part on the car is the AEM Cold Air Intake.

This car runs flawlessly.

The bad: It has the classic honda surface rust on the rear quarter panel. The clutch also slips a little bit when shifting quickly between the gears.
If you wanted to replace the clutch, Majestic Honda has some pretty good prices on OEM honda parts. $94.01 for the Friction Plate and $79.55 for the Pressure Plate. So to have it replaced wouldn’t cost that much at all for the parts.

PRICE: Looking to get $5,500

No one wants a lude??

Not bad for the asking price! GL with sale

Thanks, I hope it sells!

The paint is shiny and their are no dents or dings anywhere!!

I put my car on Honda Tech too… so if anyone on there could help me out, that would be awesome!

Clean lude. Great candidate for a H22 swap. Good luck with the sale from a fellow luder.

Thanks man… I was thinking about doing an H22 swap, but I just need to get outta some of my debts and back into a beater for a little bit. It sucks, but it’s for the better.

This is weird, I’m not getting ANY bites on H-T! I thought a prelude was a little more saught after than this? I know it’s not an H22, but still?

haha no one, and i mean nooo onee wants a prelude with an F22a engine…

thats like seeing a sick, fast car for sale and u find out its automatic

F22a :headbang

lol… I guess… I wouldn’t go that extreme though… I mean, it’s at least a good daily, with a potential for a swap

Like AyoCimmino said…noone wants an F22a. And also because it’s a 96…if it was 92-95 alot more people would show interest but noone wants to play around with passing emissions when doing an H swap.

bump for a clean prelude! and a good seller… my ek is still running strong… on the same oil from a year ago… :lol

LOL!! Damn!! That thing is a tank!

Thanks for the compliments  I treat all my cars with care.

bump… any offers?

yeah but the evo 4 manifold fits the f22 motrs so your set
evo swap ftw

haha… nah… I’m just trying to get into something different.

you have to drill out the holes, but yea it can be made to fit. Any 4G63 Manifold fits the F22

plenty of fast f series out there. They just aren’t the norm. You can also do a H22 head on a F series block. Big liter LS/Vtec!!! :eek

Bump… o.b.o.?

bump for a fello honda owner :giggedy
