FS: 1999 Legacy Wagon- $1000

My sister just bought a new car, and stopped driving this yesterday. It’s a '99 Legacy Brighton wagon, AWD, auto, white in color, 2.2 engine. It was at one time used by some kind of medical company as a mobile something-or-other, and therefore has over 200K. It would be an awesome winter beater!

The good:
-4 new tires
-New brakes-just pads I think
-1 new axle
-Runs great
-Exhaust is good
-Inspected through February
-P.O. had just done headgaskets

The Bad:
-Needs the other axle done
-The brakes don’t seem to grab as they should, need to be bled maybe? Still safe to drive though.
-Some rust, dings, scratches, hood is dented up, and the paint is faded. It could use a wax, I don’t think she never washed it or waxed it. It could look good with a good detail, but not beautiful.
-The P.O. swapped in another cluster so he could have a tach, and ever since the speedometer stops intermittently.

I will add pics tomorrow when it’s light out. The car is located in Hamburg, near exit 57.:ohyeah:

Sounds like a deal, once the pics are up it should really grab some attention as a great winter beater.

I cleaned it up a bit today and took some pics:

i’ll call you soon about checking it out today.

Looks good hope to see it tonight.

OT: what is you sister driving now?

2000 Altima, a car in way too good of condition for her driving “skill”

why go from awd to crapy 2wd?? specially right before winter. doesnt make sense

Awesome deal!

Don’t fear the mileage. The 2.2’s are bulletproof.

SOLD!!! Thanks everyone for the interest.
