So I have this head sitting sitting around that id like to get rid of. Id prefer to sell it whole but if I got enough people that want parts off of it ill split it up.
It came off of my 1990 talon that i almost forgot about until Toda reminded me lol.
I gave it a checkaroo for warpage and there was a small amount of gap in a couple spots but both were within normal operating limits. I wouldnt ever put a used head on a car without having it milled a little anyways.
I dont have pics but anyone that wants to see it lemme know and ill meet ya out somewhere (for the exchange of a good job).
However, the 2G head is almost indentical to the Evolution 8 head in terms of port sizes, valve sizes, etc so Mitsubishi seems to think the smaller ports are just as good. I’ve not seen any data on both heads that was done in an organized fashion to prove one superior over the other.
