2003 Forum TS 155. only used last season, only saw one rail (used my other board for that), still in immaculate condition. has 6 stickers on it (Iris, 686, Volcom, Rome, Forum, Special Blend). $250. awesome board. reason for selling: way too goddamn small for me. i can include a set of 2002 Ride Preston LX bindings, size L, for $300 total (board and bindings).
2002 K2 Spitfire Wide 157. this is my jib slut. it’s a bit rough, has alot of stickers on it as well as a shitty stomp pad. $150.
tell your friends, i’d love to sell these ASAP. pics available upon request.
oh the sticker. yeah that was back when i was back when i was dumb. sticker is easily removable, i just haven’t yet because i don’t ride that board therefore i don’t care.
i can’t sell the bindings. they’re my only set and i’m tight on money (which is why i’m selling these), so i need to keep them and use them.
as for pricing, the prices i’ve posted are FIRM and i don’t see why everyone thinks that they’re not at all fair. the K2 is still in amazing condition. in fact just last week me and a buddy went snowboard, and he (lacking his own board) used the K2. we threw a new coat of wax on it and it rode like it was brand new. it’s got a few small scratches, and the stickers can be easily removed. if you were to buy a brand new snowboard these days, it would cost you upwards of $400-$500. so i don’t see why asking $150 for a perfectly-working snowboard seems to be asking too much.
How tall are you Brian? I’m 6’2 and just starting on snowboards. Rented a 156 and wondering if it’s the right length for me (there was limited selection).
in general, if you stand a snowboard up right on front of you, it should end somewhere in between your chin and the tip of your nose. this is just a general rule for starting out though, it’s not set in stone.
for instance, i’m 6’5 and i ride a 158. it’s just below my chin, but i find it’s the perfect size for me because i enjoy riding the terrain park and jumps more, for which a smaller board is easier to ride.
it all comes down to personal preference. i don’t like long boards, but maybe you do. try renting a couple of different lengths and see what works best for you.
