:biglol:

trade, plus like 10 grand maybe. not trying to be a dick, but I’d have to go buy a hard top and get a cage to be able to even so much as DRIVE it anywhere I’d want to, nevermind the 26k I’ve put into the Z, it’s not exactly “Even trade” material

I was just throwing an offer out there and of course I would be willing to throw some cash into the deal, but you think an 04 S2000 and 10K would be more of a even trade???:poke:

S2000’s are dropping like a rock, and AP2’s are less desirable in most auto enthusiast’s eyes. You can pick up '00-'02 AP1’s (the 3 best years IMO) for $10-12k if you look, so in terms of what would be looked for yeah, your car plus about $10k sounds right.

9>8
Original FUN suspension > Revised suspension because idiot civic owners saw F&F and dont know how to drive with power oversteer and think the car is snappy
AP1 Curb Lighter curb weight > *

make me what you consider a more “realistic” offer… our cars are about equal in resale on KBB / Edmunds, but mine has 26k in parts, more than twice the horsepower, is fully setup, sorted, tested, proven - not something you can really quantify or put a “price” on - but let me know what YOUR opinion of the price would be.

like I said, not being a dick - just, well, there’s a differential between what you’d be offering and what I have

Edited for the sake of the seller.

~52k with approx 4-6k on the turbo motor, as stated on the first page. As are the engine specs… did you even read the ad?

[/quote]

I did. its not in the original post, and I dont care to scroll through 3 pages of nut swinging.

no you obviously didn’t as it is in the original post

where is the nut swinging you mention?? … this is the frustrating thing about posting something for sale on local forums :roll2:

if you are interested, PM me, I’ll gladly go over the entire maintenance history / mileages / etc if you’d like. car has 54k miles on it now, about 8k of which are post-turbo/engine build. I updated the first post to clarify…

funny, bc he just added the mileage of the car NOW. let me guess…you live in one of the houses under the I-190? :bloated:

And just FYI, when someone refers to a “built engine,” its nice to know all the specifics…hence asking for more detail other than some rods and pistons and new seals.

Thanks for answering my questions dmoffitt. I am looking for something a little more low mileage. It would be nice to be able to ask a question without having some smartass waste time flapping their gums, instead of being helpful.

Feel free to call Carl @ Carl McQuillen Racing Engines, I don’t have the sheet (on a business trip til June 12). It’s a vq, it’ll last to 300k+ - hell the factory hatch marks were still there and it measured PERFECT

funny, I thought they spoke english in candia, I mean he did state Pistons, full machining to ensure proper clearance, New seals and bearings, what more would be consistent to a built engine? He stated stock heads and cams. You asked for engine specs, they are there.

yum. someone is getting a screamin deal on this one. i love screamin deals

Im going to Vegas in June and playing in the WSOP, if I make the money I will be buying this when I return lol.

Im playing the $1500 shoot out on the 12th for the record.

I hate to be “That Guy”, but someone has to low ball, how about $2,000 for it?

A lowball would be 18k, what you just did was stupid.
