FS: 2005 Subaru Legacy GT

Why you say that?

Tried to post on tristatetuners. Against the rules. Tons of traffic there though, so you should join/post there.

5/1 i’m buying something from you.

:lol

ErnGotti- I appreciate you posting this for sale on the carscene forum.
[sarcasm]Has the car been beat on? No. Not at all. [/sarcasm]
Has the car been taken care of with routine fluid changes and maintenance? Yep. Adam Hennessy can vouch, as he did a ton of it for me.

Reason for motor failures:

  1. Oil starvation. A line went and blew the turbo, causing the motor to run dry of oil. Once it was filled back up with oil and OE turbo replaced, the motor went a month later and had bearing failures. Coincidence? Nope. Causation? Yep.
  2. Cyl #4 ringland went. They all do on Subarus that have seen abuse like track days and such. Cyl #4 runs leaner than the other cylinders, so that happens. I was on a street tune when the motor blew, then once it was replaced w/ the Cosworth motor, it was dyno-tuned to a very conservative 300whp by Chris @ EFI Logics. Amazing driveability since.

You’ve gotten some compliments on my honda forums… but no real bites. B20vtec does notttt know what to think about it.

I’m in talks with someone from there who seems very interested, so you may be getting monies if this dude takes it.
