Wasn’t Saab GM-owned in 2006? I know they bought the Pilot motor for the Vue Redline and the Vibe comes with Celica engines but damn. An entire CAR from Subaru with different badges?

GM owned SAAB and 20% of Fuji HI (Subaru) when this car was announced. They sold their share to Toyota in late 2005. A lot of the car is the same, but they are definitely a bit nicer than the Subaru IMO.

Saw this car on i90 a few months ago and was like wait thats not a freakin subaru?? I think you had subi-style mudflaps on it at that point

Actually sold it last Feb. with like 94k on it? Wanted something with better gas mileage and a little smaller. I had left it the way you had it. It was a hell of a lot of fun while I had it

sucks that you have to sell it, unless you absolutely want/need to stay in nys, get the fuck out if you have been certified to teach in nys, other states will droll over you. my sister got an awesome job outside of nys because of nys certification.

i may unfortunately have to. if i dont get a full time teaching gig within two years, i may look south. the pay and benefits aren’t as good, but it’s a career. i saw that louisville, KY is desperately searching for teachers at this point. if we didn’t own a house or both of our families live within 10 mins from us, it would be an easy move once again.

just speeking from my sisters experience, the pay is a little lower but the cost of living also is so in the end it’s like your making more…this is for the nashville, tn area btw. she is renting a house for cheaper then her apartments were up in mechanicville.

yeah, it’s a lot cheaper for cost of living down there. The salaries in Louisville really aren’t that bad. I’d start off at like $40k and I cap around $75k. They pay their substitutes higher than the districts I sub for.

I actually just applied to Guilderland today. Hopefully, I can get an interview there despite it only being half-time.
