MSRP for everything is usually higher then the actual selling price and I don’t know how his purchase price was worked out.
At this point, he has paid for 2 hot tubs…the 2nd one he paid $13K for and has absolutely no room for the “old” one on his property which is the urgency to get rid of it since the new one has already been delivered and is in place and working.
He recouped partial reimbursment since it wasn’t going to be worth the manufacturer to be re-shipping the unit back and forth to their facility for electrical analysis. But he didn’t get $4k back, that’s for sure.
