posting for a friend:
he’s got 4 external hard drives, 2 are firewire, 2 are USB.
the firewire:
LaCie, the premium brand of Seagate technology - world-class storage solutions for photographers, videographers, audio professionals, and other power users.
the usb:
http://www.lacie.com/products/product.htm?pid=10468 SOLD
these are all brand new still in the box.
$100 for a firewire + shipping
keep in mind i’m out in hawaii, so these would be shipped from here. It would only cost about $10 to go ground.

Yessum, pm your paypal address and I can send out later after work. Any chance for it to go USPS priority? I have a co-worker who might want one as well. I will know by tonight though.

firewire > USB
it’s just way faster of a connection.
aka IEEE1394 cable. always seems to be faster/more reliable, at lease for me. even faster than usb 2.0
