this is the perfect upgrade for ultra because you’re only going from a 3.4 (auto M3 I think) to a 3.9 which is not too aggressive for you, but a little much for most daily drivers.

AND you can make money on this deal because your 3.4 is considered VERY desirable to manual M3 owners who want to upgrade from their stock 3.23, but don’t want to sit a 4k+ on the highway.

Do it, I want your Diff. But Im not sure, I think I remember looking at this and it may be a 4 bolt diff… Im not sure how all that works with 4 bolt versus 6 bolt

yes, im sorry i forgot to mention guys. Its a 4bolt and yes the lsd works great. plenty of harry burnouts left in her.:smiley: You could always just swap the flanges or find another flange to swap on to it.

for all of the above:

you can swap your current output shafts from your current diff in about 5 mins with any of these if they have a different number of bolts… they just pull right out.

my E30 has a 3.94 (I believe) and I would not want to daily this ratio - it’s insane, but I love it on my FUN car.

for automatic BMWs it’s a different story, they can daily this.
