I love those cars. A guy at a car show I went to last year had one with a blower outta the hood.
begs for a hot motorset, ls1? 2jz? rb26? more supercommon engine codes? 4 cyl to keep weight down. I would love that car with a jap motor. mmmmmmm
Well, I didn’t get a chance to talk to him, but here are some pics of the actual car. They’re from a cellphone and don’t do the car justice. It’s very clean, he’s meticulous with cleaning/maintenance.
Hopefully I’ll run into him or his wife tomorrow to get a list of stuff done to it.
those pics are good as hell for being from a cell phone!
yeah, it’s not bad for a phone, but still not great either (blurry and grainy). Lighting wasn’t the best though
like I said, those pics really don’t do the car justice. I forgot how clean it was. The interior is pretty much mint and couldn’t find any rust or corrosion what so ever on the car on a quick once around.
If I had the money, I’d buy this up for myself
nah, I’ll walk over after work and see if he’s around though.
that thing kicks ass
$6,500?
Wow that seems really cheap.
Nice car.
yes sir
still haven’t talked to him, but hopefully will this weekend. Surprised anyone here isn’t jumping on this yet. Would be a very cool candidate for a turbo swap
I’m trying to convince a friend to buy it. He used to own one. He’s waiting out for more details on the drivetrain.
They aren’t the greatest vehicles for swap since there isn’t much of a frame under them and the structural integrity of them goes to crap if you mod it too much.
I don’t think Opel was a GM brand in 1969
It was known as the European Corvette.:mamoru:
yes it was, they were brought into this country as a Buick Opel GT
.
that I didn’t know… Buick? no shit
well they were sold that way, not really branded, my dad use to tell me about his
first post updated
should have more/better pics in the next day or two
That is pretty BA. Even better shape than I thought!
