Ok, so I just bought this coupe literally a few days ago, and I’m starting to have a change in heart and wanting a hatch.
I have a red 93 coupe LE with only 133 000km’s on the body and 5000km on a 95 engine. I purchased it from an elderly man so it’s never been winter driven, and the body of the car (underneath) shows it. He had rust proofed it every year! No rust on the wheel wells whatsoever. All the power options work and the interior is also very clean. ALSO! It is an automatic, I know that drives some of you insane, but for the condition this car is in, perhaps it will be worth it for you to change it to 5 speed!
The bad:
The ABS doesn’t work and there is a tear on the driver’s side seat. Also, the seat belt on the driver’s side doesn’t recoil back, but I’m pretty sure Nissan offers a life time warranty on their seatbelts, so you could probably get it replaced at a Nissan Dealership, free of charge.
I’m looking for $4000 (exactly what I paid for the car) or perhaps a trade for a hatch in similar shape as my coupe. I have a lot of other pictures, so feel free to ask for more. Thank you! Oh, almost forgot, it also comes e-tested, but will expire on May 26th since it was done last year at that time!
except for the fact that they are better. Nice clean car. You really should keep it. I am a big fan of the hatch, but in time you will learn to love them both equally.
Wow it really looks like its never been winter driven. Was the bluehaired dude the original owner? And because hes elderly he didn’t drive in the winter?
But seriously. Don’t sell it. You will regret it when you are inable to find another 240 in as good shape as that. That car has many many many bodywork free years ahead of it (assuming you don’t crash into stuff)
