Selling my winter beater. I’ve had it for 3 years now. It Runs, the only place it has been moved was from my driveway to the street and back in the last 6 months. New brakes, tires. Heat works good. 80,000 miles. No pics yet.
I’m selling it because I want to get truck for a beater this year. And my parents want this one gone before I get another car.
Issues - idles kinda funky and stalled out on me once in spring (the last time I drove it a long distance).
Definately a good beater for anyone that needs one for the winter. :tup:
funky idle may be due to an alternator going bad, my beretta did teh same

body is in pretty good condition… starting to rust alittle. I will post pics tomorrow. No accidents. It should pass inspection with no problems.

BTW I just started it and it ran fine. Idle was even good. lol maybe i forgot how it ran? I drove it for 10 mins. the only i forgot to mention is the Anti-lock brakes don’t work anymore.
I also noticed the brakes seem like the froze up or something.

Bad brakes and idle i offer you $350.00 for it.
Typical problem…back brakes freeze up on these all the time.

Edit - I found out what the problem is. The rockers have to be tightened. We didn’t have an inch/lbs tourqe wrench to tighten it so we took an “estmated guess” lol Easy fix
or on any car when it sits long enough…

How did you “find out” what the problem was?
And yes it has been sitting, so I’m sure the brakes are just dragging.
