FS: 95 tsi fwd turbo 5 speed

up for sale is a 95 TSI FWD turbo. was originally an automatic, did a 5 speed swap on it. clean title. car runs and drives great. motor was rebuilt by one of the previous owners but i am not sure with what. compression was 205 straight across so it has some higher compression pistons in it. could even have a built bottom end (have to pull the oil pan or head to find out). Paint is in good shape with no fading, one good scratch on the passenger side, no major dents in the body. has strut tower rust on both sides, but that is the only rust.

some new parts/mods include the following:

fidanza flywheel
exedy OEM clutch
Full SS clutch line from slave to master cylinder
front o2 sensor
syncromesh tranny fluid
mobil 1 filter and mobil 1 oil
3000gt rims painted black with good all season tread

car has 140k on the chassis, but lower mileage on the tranny and motor.
gray interior is in decent shape, the carpet is a little dirty and could use some scrubbing. I just did not have the time to do so for the pics.

Asking $3500 might be open to trades or offers.

Chris turns so-so cars into solid cars. I wouldn’t hesitate a second to buy a DSM from him if I was in the market for another.

I agree from what i’ve seen on here and wnydsm when i had my talon.
If I decide to sell my BMW upon completion I may be in the market for a 6 bolt swapped 2gb awd :wink:
