overall this car is great daily driver. very realiable, always used mobil 1 full snythetic oil and mobil 1 filters. have not had to do anything as far as replacing new parts. previous owner took very goo dcare of this car.
id appreciate it if the peanut gallery stayed out of this one, i have seen far worse dsm’s go for more than this. there is a reason why it says OBO. there are a couple very minor fade spots on the roof and thats it. what you are paying for is awd and a strong running engine, so go find something better to do with your time. and FYI i could get a tranny for like 250-300, get the roof painted for 200, and everything else is solid on the car. so you could have a perfectly running, driving awd turbo car for 4500 ish.
one more thing, i added up over $4,000 in receipts alone for this car between timing belt, water pump, pulleys, tensioners, master cylinder, clutch, gaskets, brakes, etc. so id appreciate if you wouldnt bother me any more. thanks:tup:
remember no one wants a rebuilt title. it normally means something major happend to car. which then cuts half of its value. then add the performace things and it depreciates (spelling… i know i suck at it) the value too. im not hating on this at all. its clean for a buffalo car and GLWS.
that is the thing, the only “performance things” are a new act 2100 clutch and an intake filter. all those receipts are mostly from mitsubishi dealerships.
i said good luck lol, your forgeting 140,000 miles on a DSM and REBUILT TITLE ill give ya $2000

why dont you go both other people on the forums. i looked at your posts and all you do is post stupid things on the auto trader section of the forum. i have yet to see you post anything usefull on any of your post on cars for sale (besides oh its worth this much, and ill give you this much for it). do me a favor and dont post on my topics anymore, you are getting on my nerves. id sell it to somone else for $1999 before i sold it to you for $2000. I allready have a few offers in the mix so thanks.
pretty bad, i smashed away all the weak rusted metal and ground it down some. i was planning on welding in some new plates and finishing it off nicely, but i got too mayn other projects to do, so i gotta get rid of this one.
salvage title, from what i inspected… i cant find one major dented rear 1/4 panels, frame rail or anything liek that. i had all the rear plastics off and i dont see any welding or cutting or anything of that matter in the back. i do know that the rear bumper was replaced, fender replaced, door painted, front bumper painted. everything on the body lines up nicely, no major flaws or anything.
my guess is that since kbb values these cars pretty low, that when they had to get new bumpers, side skirt, fender, door, and all that painted, maybe headlights too, they totalled it out even though there is no major unibody damage to it.
Between the shell, engine because people like to rebuild them anyways, tranny/ driveshaft/ transfer case because I myself am looking for AWD setup for my spyder, ecu,…etc. The car is definatley worth $3500. That thing would be sold on DSMtuners.com
I had decently bad strut tower rust on my DSM. Went to FabWeld in rochester and got it repaired on both sides for 200 total. nice thick steel, and a coating.
