Selling my 95 TSi AWD. Looking for $3800 or Best offer…
There’s good and bad.
Good-
It’s a 6 bolt swap. Motor has ~100k or so on it.
It’s has 510cc injectors that came with the motor.
The tranny is still fairly good. Only slight catch going into 3rd fast.
The clutch is an ACT 2100. Still holds strong.
Has a Hybrid Connections custom built o2 sensor housing put in last fall.
Bad-
The locks are broken. Shouldn’t be too bad to fix though, I just haven’t bothered.
The E-brake is shot. Pretty sure it is the cable, but haven’t looked.
The horn doesn’t work. It is taking current when the buttons are pressed, but it doesn’t sound. Likely the horn itself needs to be replaced. It needs a new tie rod end, but I will likely make that repair before selling it.
Now the main problem with the car. The chassis has 146k on it. It has been a DD since it was made, and it has spent the last 6 or 76 years at least in WNY being driven thru the winter. The paint is pretty good still considering. It still shines very nicely. There are some scratches and some dents from tards in parking lots who can’t keep their doors to themselves. The big problem is that there is some rust on the rear hatch, and the front strut towers rusted through. Two 2 inch diameter holes. There is also a small bend on the drivers fender, and a crack in the bumper at the same place. The lights are aftermarket projector lights with silverstar bulbs. They are VERY bright.
This car has been very reliable. The alternator is only about 10k old. The Battery was replaced around the same time. It still spins a T25 turbo with NO shaft play. It has a boostcontroller and that is it. It is also currently on Winterforce snow tires.
I should prolly add that I did the timing belt, with a new tensioner as well, and valve cover gasket last summer, about 15k ago. Brembo blank front rotors were put on last summer as well. New wheel hub assembly was done about 5k ago.
So your the guy who bought chinos mr2…I did the fuel pump in that car a little while back and I still hate chino till this day for it…j/k. But at least is has very pimp ss -6an braided hose from the tank to the filter.
Alright… Here are some pics… Any odd spots in the paint are from the rain that started as I ws taking the pictures…
As you’ll see the general paint is in great shape. There are those problem areas that need to be addressed and then you’re good to go.
Price is $3500 OBO… This car needs a home and needs to be on the road being driven.
Also, the crack in the bumper is due to the fender being bent down in the corner. There was an incident this past winter, and the headlight took the most of the impact. But the fender did bend and dent which caused the bumper to crack. Could easily touch up the bumper with a new fender in place.
