Well, it’s been a hard decision but it’s time to let my car go. Last summer I put around 1500 kms on it, and it’s just not worth it to have that kind of money tied up in something I’ll only drive once or twice a week, and only if it’s not raining (I know, I’m way too anal). On the same token I have a bottom line and, for anything less I will keep the car. I’m not in a position where I need to sell her.

Some of you may already know the details but the major notes are:

-97 240sx 85000 original kms on chasis and motor.
-98 SR20DET installed, with modifications puts down 248 WHP at 9psi.
-Originally from Alberta.
-Lowered, rims, tires, etc.
-Carbon fiber hood, JDM bumpers, sideskirts.
-Never winter driven
-300zx front and rear brakes (e-brake included)
-inboard mounted intercooler wth custom made aluminum intercooler, radiator & piping.
-rx7 oil cooler, oil filter relocator.
-aluminum driveshaft
-JDM power folding mirrors
-Euro R Recaros

There are a lot of modifications done to this car, some of which are very rare (Autech steering wheel). If you are a serious buyer I can send you a complete list.

She is still in storage in my garage (on blocks) and I usually don’t bring her out till May long weekend when all the streets are cleaned. For a serious buyer I will bring her out earlier, as if it was me I would want the car all summer to enjoy.

I’m asking $17900 open to offers and/or a trade of up to a $3000 value (vehicle). Or if there is miraculously someone who wants to get rid of their Toyota Tacoma Double Cab 4x4 (1999-2004) We can also work something out.

If a serious buyer cannot afford my asking price but still wants the car, there are some parts I would consider selling without and therefore reducing the price. I’d hate to do this as she really is a perfect package as is. (ie: $17 200 w/o the stereo system)

As for the asking price, I appreciate your input but a car this clean, rust free, and modified does not come cheap. I’m not in a position where I need to sell and don’t mind keeping the car at all, she’s an absolute blast to drive.

Anyways, enjoy the pictures. A complete modification list is available but only to serious buyers, I don’t want to waste my time.

if it’s 85 000km on the chassis that’s rare to find and would be a good reason for a high price. I say just post a full list of upgrades/mods cause if you really feel your price is fair, I’m sure once ppl see what’s actually been put into the car they’ll understand the price.

but on another note… i’m not too sure how many guys you’ll find here that will have that much cash to dump all at once on a 240. just my 2 cents… glws!

Thanks Jon, and that is a good point. I’m listing the car on a couple of forums before listing her on autotrader/forsale sites, etc. I’d really like to see her go to a good home within the Nissan community so that was my attemp here.

It’s actually less than 85 000 on both the motor and the chasis. The previous owner (the guy who did the swap) sourced out the motor to have the same kms as the car. He’s a really smart guy and an absolute perfectionist. He bought the front clip when the right one came along. The clip he bought was a '98 silvia. He said when doing the swap he had to review both S14 and S15 factory service manuals.

Anyone who is really interested can e-mail me and I can send them the parts list. I don’t like the idea of a list of parts on my car readily available to anyone (call it paranoia). Please don’t waste my time if you’re not seroius.

I can also send a serious buyer more pictures showing the installed parts and could work with someone to lower the price potentially down to $14500 obo but I would have to remove some of the rare pieces.

Maybe I should also mention I have a tonne of spare parts and extra pieces that I could be pursuaded in to throwing in.

These include, but are not limited to:

-New pair of 275/40/17 Goodyear Eagle F1’s (were about $700)
-New urethane rear bushing kit
-Rear suspnsion brace (fits behind the differential) - not too sure of exact name
-Extra walbro 255lph fuel pump
-Factory non-power folding mirrors (the stock ones)
-Factory service manual (1997 Nissan 240sx)
-Spare S14 Digital Climate Controller
-Silvia S14 gauges
-Silvia S14 factory radio
-Spare p/s pump
-Extra set of floor mats

There’s a bunch of other parts I have lying around that can also go with the car, I haven’t been in the garage all winter and can’t remember exactly what I have out there.

I’ve had a couple of local offers for a trade but would prefer to just sell.

$17900 - open to reasonable, serious offers.
