Since college is right around the corner, and I’m finding a laptop more useful than a desktop, I’m looking to sell my current rig. It is a couple of years old but its a very good machine for any task.
Computer
2.2 GHz AMD Athlon 64 3500+, NewCastle Core
3 GB of RAM, DDR-400, GSKILL
EPOX 9NDA3 Motherboard with the nForce 3 Chipset
200 GB Western Digital SATA Drive
Sony DVD+/-RW Drive
NVIDIA GeForce 7800GS, AGP
Creative Labs Audigy 2 ZS
Intel Pro 1000/MT Gigabit Ethernet Card
----All Inside of a Cooler Master Centurion Case
This computer rocks, for a computer with an AGP graphics card, it is probably one of the best, not the complete best because I know someone on here is going to tell me that its not, but in my honest opinion, I think it is a damn good system. It can play Guild Wars without a problem, same with Need for Speed: Pro Street. And by the way, smoking a set of tires off of an Integra in Pro Street was fun with this computer. So was playing Test Drive: Unlimited.
…Also, I will include a Samtron 17" CRT Flat Screen monitor. Samtron is a brand made by Samsung, and its a great monitor. Your may be thinking that since it’s a CRT it isn’t that good, but this is one where the glass tube is completely flat on the front, producing a crisp and clear image all the way up to a 1280x1024 resolution.
I also have speakers for it, not the greatest but they’re a Wal-Mart special, with 2 speakers and 1 small sub.
Also I’ll give you an ethernet cord, a mouse, a keyboard, and hell why not a router, I’ll give you that too.
The computer comes pre-installed with Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3, Microsoft Office 2003, AVG Anti-Virus 8.0, Mozilla Firefox, iTunes, and Ashampoo Burning Studio 6.
Basically I’m providing all of the required things to get you off an started if your in need of a computer.
I’m looking for $500, for all of this, and since it’s a complete system, I don’t think its that terrible. You may want to argue that “Oh I can buy a bran-new computer for that much”. But listen, if you do buy that system from Dell for $500, trust me, it won’t play the games that I listed for the life of it. Honestly, those come with onboard graphics cards, this computer has a dedicated video card, and the best AGP one you could find. Let me know if you’re interested, thank you for your time.
As you can see, the case has some pretty sharp looking blue led’s and has (2) USB 2.0 ports, (1) headphone, (1) mic-in, and (1) firewire. Which are all currently connected. Also on the front is a card reader, I don’t currently have it connected, I put it in but I never hooked it up, just don’t have the time.
Also I would like to say that I can deliver all of this to you for an extra $20. Anywhere in Erie County, I would even go up to Lockport or Niagara Falls or as south as Fredonia.
All of this for: $450 or B.O.
