Sorry, could you just clarify one thing re: the S13 “foglights”? I’m interested in some replacement bulbs but I just want to make sure we’re on the same page here.

When you talk about them are you referring to the DRL/driving lights below the (chuki) signal lenses? I’m curious because the 1156 lights you describe as being in the bottom of the (I’m assuiming second) pic are marked as being 100w and do not look like 1156 bulbs. If that’s the case, then a 100w bulb (I’ve never heard of a 100w 1156) does not seem too safe to use behind the crappy plastic DRL lens.

If you’re referring to aftermarket fogs, then I apologize and this issue is moot.

DTRL is what I was referring to, and yes they are 1156 100w bulbs.
I have used same bulbs in my DTRL for about 2years, no melting or heat issues at all. The light output is about twice that of an oem bulb, and is whiter. Use at your own risk, I am just relating my experience.
