What is a Digi Cap?
digital capacitor? that is just what I call it.
It is a 1 farad capacitor.

Sorry, what does it do? Im audio challanged.
An audio capacitor slowly builds up charge, then when your sub’s need to draw a huge boom, the cap releases the charge. This way its easier on your alternator/battery.

Not only is it easier on your amp and alternator, but most of the time, speakers, and subs blow because there is NOT enough power to properly feed the sub.
For eg. if you are running a 300watt sub from a 200watt amp and your sub needs more power than your amp can provide you run the risk of blowing your sub.
With a capacitor the charge is released at this time(when more power than you have is necessary), and thus greatly reduces the risk of your sub blowing. Audio guru’s can add/modify to what has been said…but this is the basic use of this item.
