FS:Chrome intake off a 2002 vw jetta 1.8t

didnt want to turn this into a bash CTS thread as i know Clay pretty well. but the manifold design is a design that my parts supplier passed up because he had his own design and a dedicated foundry for it. Arnold Lee of Pag Parts and Turbo had a proposal about 2 years ago from the supplied inwhich Clay and CTS/Kinetic bought the manifold from. they wanted PPT to buy the rights to the design and sell it, he declined because he didnt like the design and the casting quality seemed flawed to him, which is evident in the cracking in under 10,000 MILES. ive run my Pag Parts for almost 25k miles and it is like a new part. even ATP loggers have lasted longer

Oh and by the way…

Chrome intake was traded for some jetta monster mats…

Thank you DOM!!!

good youre better off. monster mats are awesome.

LMAO yea i got these thick ass mats that get caught up under the pedals some times… Time for them to go !!!

wouldn’t be a bashing thread as we are the only ones who are on the 1.8t forums lol.

yeah but i just hate bad mouthing a company that i know the owner personally.

well they were at my house for ever and i dont like rubber mats… so im happy your happy.

I know what spring brings for the Jetta…
I’ll keep it quiet tho lol
