FS: feeler '92 240sx ca18det

ok so any1 who knows me dont start flipping out about how im looking to sell, im just looking to see what i can get, and who knows wat will happen
ok heres all of it

-92’ s13 coupe. body is beat up a little bit but theres like no rust on the car, it spent most of its life in arizona
-ca18det motorset
-brand new centerforce dual friction clutch
-new yokohama es100’s 205/50/r15
-Apexi N1 catback
-greddy type s bov
-megan racing 3in downpipe
-sr smic
-custom hotpipe
-ca coldpipe
-sr turbo elbow
-ka dohc throttle body-larger than ca
-s14 radiator
-flywheel resurfacing
-S13 vlsd
-12" electric fan
-autometer boost, oil psi and a/f guage and custom din panel
-whiteline t/c rod bushings
-brakes up front done and have pads for rear
-rx7 15in mesh wheels, black mesh with polished lip
-canadian daytime running lights (need to be wired)
-sony headunit
-aftermarket speakers all around, sounds good
-all engine wiring done with solder shrink wrap/electrical tape, all good connections
-gutted cat
-new thermostat
-oil pan gasket replaced

motor runs great, im sure ppl will vouch for it, pulls real smooth, oil psi is good, turbo is tight, does have a mani to turbo gasket leak but that will be fixed soon, b4 that went car is very quite for being full 3in, always ran 91 or 93, tranny does grind 3rd every once in a while when your really getting on it. an sr turbo would be a good upgrade, its still a t25 just a bigger a/r, but the motor is only a little less powerful than the sr, due tot he turbo size mainly, and it makes its power in different places, with the setup now it pulls from like 3400rpms all the way to like 7k

as far as how fast it is and stuff, never dyno’d it but i pulled a 2004 rsx type s with an intake, a jdm gsr swapped hatch with all the bolts ons pulled like 1/2 car to a car on me, ummm idk i dont rly street race much
at lancaster (my 1st time ever racing at a track)
reaction - 1.03 (eek)
60ft - 2.5
1/8 - 10.33@71mph

car can easily run 9s in the 1/8th with a better driver or if i get better

thats all i can think of but i know theres shit im forgetting

around 4k invested in the project, not including all the labor done by me, which is everything lol so idk throw out some offers, lowballers dont bother

^^^^

pics?

:word:

pulls good…runs amazing

its a clean swap, fun car

bump for a different swap

cool car, different swap

i never really looked at the ca18det, how capable are they?

consider trades?

mileage on motor (est) and chassis?

miles on motor i belive were 47k, that was the number on the timing cover when i got it. but the guy i got the motor from is the man for ca’s he only sells ca’s and the occasional rb when he gets them. but yea wen i had the oil pan off the bottom end looked awesome, no gunk or build up of any kind, has good oil psi, miles i the chassis liek 150? maybe more lol i have to check, but none the less you can see from the pics that its vry clean for a 92. it was in an accident with the owner b4 the guy i got it from, the guy i got it from got new fenders and front bumper, and sed the frame was checked and was a-ok. it drivers great, cruising around 80 theres slight vibration but i was told 2 of the wheels were bent but straightened, so that maybe the cause, i forgot to mention it has brand new hardened tie rods, inners and outters that let you turn 15% more or w/e and i put in new steering rack bushing (energy suspension) the rack had been leaking a little bit but i filled the system with lucas and no probs

the motor itself is great, designed alot liek the rb, timing belt, no chain, 1 intake runner for each valve, cam on lifter, no rocker arm bs, iron block, all forged internals. and parts can be crossed from the ca18de that came in the 88 pulsar nx se. so all parts can be bought at your local auto stores

but yea i may consider a trade, for the mr2? or wat? liek i had sed in the title its more fo a feeler but who knows what can happen if the right offer is made

you spent all this time working on that car n now you wanna sell it… what a fag :gay2:

shut the shell up matt, lol only if i get a good offer, its not like im looking to get out of building cars, just idk a change lol, i get bored easily

very nice car fun as fuck to drive too kept up with me(gsr hatch) so all and all nice car and a good kid so bump bump

i think i ran you a while back… we should run again, made a few changes

however on topic - i wanna check your 240 out mang… what are you up to this weekend?

you give me the car and 8g and you can have my Z
