Well, need to sell my Golf. With a baby on the way, need to get some cash and pay some things off.
It’s a 2001 GL 2.0L 8v, with 137,xxx on it. I am the second owner.
I put new pads and rotors on it last fall. It’s got a new T-Stat, coolant flange, hazard switch, dipstick, oil cap gasket, coolant temp sensor, rear O2 sensor.
I removed the rear seats and seatbelts, as well as the badges on the hatch.
I had a 2 1/4in catback done at Pete’s with a Buddy Club muffler. Neuspeed CAI and a grounding kit.
As of right now, it needs a right front ABS sensor, probably E-Brake cables (drivers side sticks a little and doesn’t release all the way), and possibly a serpentine belt. Still on the original clutch, but no slippage up to this point.
Car came with 15in AR rims. They don’t look too bad, and I bought VW center caps for them.
I have snow tires on steelies that I am running now (winter!). The snows are Dunlop Graspics and should have another winter or two in them.
Car runs good. Took it out to Mass. two weekends ago and got 40+ MPG on the highway.
I will try to get pics up ASAP, but I do not have a digital camera. Time to bug a friend!
