(Remember. This is a parts car. I don’t know if I posted in the right forum. I read the sticky, but it didn’t say anything about that. If I need to move it, I will.)

Hey guys, Kyushu here.

It’s finally time to get rid of the piece of junk =, how ever much I love the thing. Right off the bat I’ll tell you the Bad, so you don’t read to the end and go “Aw ****” I would’ve bought that car.

BAD NEWS:

  • This car has a dangerously large rust “gash” around the entirety of the front left strut tower. I mean you can see the ground around my front left tire when you look through it in the engine bay. Because of that. It’s no longer driveable.
  • Also, 'cause of that, it caused electrical problems. I think it’s a short, that’s been caused by that rust.
  • There’s also rust on the front of the left frame rail. It seems like that area of the car took a huge rust beating.
  • Windshield’s cracked (a HUGE crack).
  • There is rust under the driver side floor panel.
  • The poor thing has a leaky gas tank if you fill it over half way, and it’s got a flat in the rear left =.

GOOD NEWS:

  • The rest of the car’s actually in good shape.
  • The Engine is rebuilt, and has 80 000 KMs on it. There’s no way for me to prove that to you, but you can hear it. The engine is in great shape. KA24E.
  • The remainder of the frame rails are in great shape. It’s pure steel under the surface rust.
  • The rear sub-frame is off a '93, and is in good condition.
  • My suspension parts broke a lot of the time while I had this car, so most of the control arms are new (like from Nissan less than 6 months old).
  • NEW Master Cylinder (changed in January '08.)
  • NEW Dynopak (run of the mill) Clutch (installed with the Master Cylinder in January '08.)
  • New Alternator done in Feb '08, because of the electrical problems. It still works great. There’s just a short in the system somewhere.
  • New Battery in Feb '08. (the better of the 2 Canadian Tire ones).

That should be it. I’m asking $1200, O.B.O. (don’t be afraid to make an offer).
