FS: 1993 240SX w/ a bunch of extra goodies

Hey guys,

The vehicle is a red 1993 240SX SE hatch. My goal was to hit 240,000km and have a big party…it is at 238,760km and I am forced to sell it. FML!

Cliffnotes:
Body dent on rear left quarter (from guy backing out and scraping it…GRR)
Rear right of bumper has damage (another guy misjudging distance…GRR)
Frame has rust but has been reinforced and rust cut out with new metal welded in
HG going on rebuilt KA, should be changed ASAP
Shitloads
of parts, ideal partout car

*NOTE: Pictures are before the 2 parking lot incidents, the rear quarter is now dented and the rear right side of the bumper has a small hole. I will update this thread with more pictures as soon as I find my micro USB cable for my phone.

I am currently going back to university, and the head gasket is on the way out on the rebuilt KA (about 20,000km on it since the rebuild). I am so sad to have to do this, this car has been the center of my life for the last 3 years and I have spent every dollar I made on it…many of you who know me can vouch for that. lol

I am very short on time as I am in Mechanical Engineering (pure stress) and am located in Waterloo for the next 4 months. I DO NOT have the time or place to part out the car.

I am willing to sell it at a huge loss as I am still paying insurance/parking etc…

There are a few dents and scratches. There is surface rust on the rear wheel wheels starting to form since last year. Frame is in average condition, all of the structural components like the frame rails, lower rad support and floors had all rust cut out and new metal welded in by Draggone. I’d say that the strut towers should be addressed in the near future if the car is to be tracked or driven aggressively, it is starting to rot, near where the ECU kickpanel is. I never tracked it so never got around to reinforcing the strut towers and caging it.

I will include so many extras, I just need to get rid of this car and focus on getting my engineering degree.

You can take all the goodies out, swap them to your mint S13 chassis, and turn this into a winter car, or you can change the HG or drop in another KA/SR and have a solid car. You could also part it out yourself and make MUCH MUCH more than my asking price. The majority of the parts were recently installed, so everything is in great shape.

Spoilerless Red Hatch to replace monstrosity on car currently (never got around to installing it, painted hatch myself from blue to red, so not an amazing job…lol)
Redline KA-T ECU for 370cc, Stock MAF, T28/T25ish setup, no limiter (talk to Kheim from Redline for retune in the future)

This is now on the car as of 1.5 months ago.


This was when Draggone himself redid any rust on the floor, rockers, and rails. They were already in decent shape except a few concentrated areas. All of it was cut and replaced with sheetmetal.


That rusty HICAS subframe has been replaced. The brake lines have been repaired too, and HICAS eliminated. The auto transmission is gone too. :stuck_out_tongue:

I am debating paying to have the coils swapped with the stock suspension and dropping the price, but only if there is interest towards doing so. I’ve already paid a bunch of money getting them installed, getting an alignment, etc…it would be in the buyer’s interest to leave them on.

Just brought the car out from storage. Today is the LAST day to take it for a spin, insurance is going to be disabled tomorrow.

Come get it. I am willing to drop the price some more, and still include everything on the car!
