FS: Ported AEB, Schrick Solid Lifter conversion, +1 valves, BEST OF THE BEST

I bought this head with anticipation of running it on a 1.8T drag car, but project focus changed so its no longer needed. Part numbers for the Schrick components are attached.

  • Ported AEB head

  • Schrick solid lifter conversion kit

  • Schrick Titanium Valve springs Exhaust ref.no.: 0014 02 054

  • Schrick Titanium Valve springs Intake ref.no.: 0301 02 060

  • Schrick Titanium retainers (intake)ref.no.: 301 13 007

  • Schrick Titanium retainers (exhaust)ref.no.: 0301 13 008

  • Schrick solid lifter buckets ref.no.: 0863 14 500

The cams are Schrick also specs are:

ref.no.: 301A1560-00 (exhaust camshaft mech.) opening duration: 256° peak angle:114° lift max.:11.0mm lift at TDC: 0.6mm

ref.no.: 301E1480-00 (intake camshaft mech.) opening duration: 248° peak angle:112° lift max.:8.2mm lift at TDC: 0.42mm

I received the head from the previous owner who put 5 new valves in it. I sent it to my local engine builder, Boyds Motorworks in Gloversville NY who has been in business for a long time, they checked & relashed the valves (0.25mm for intake and 0.35mm for exhaust as specd by Schrick), also degreed the cams, and re assembled the head. All the seals look to be mint, and the valve guides are mint as well. Head was also hot tanked and fully clean/prepped when reassembled. Also the deck on the head was checked by the machine shop and verified perfect.

The head is bolt on ready. This is about as bad a head you can build for a 1.8T. Supports 10,500 RPM and being ported, oversized valves and the cams in it will make for one of the highest flowing heads out there.

Someone buy this and make 1000+hp!

I am located right outside Albany NY, my zip is 12070 if you want to pick it up locally.

Shipping: Buyer pays shipping. It weights 58lbs head alone. I bolted/spaced it off a piece of 3/4" plywood to keep the valves from getting bent in shipping. (with the cams in some are open and of course hang below the deck of the head). With packaging and the box I expect it to weight 60Lbs. It will be shipped insured for $3500.

Feel free to calculate shipping yourself, my zip is 12070, 60lbs and insured for $3500, to your address and you can see how much it will be.

I bought it for $2600 from the previous owner who invested $5000+ in parts alone. Spent $350 at the machine shop to get it 100% bolt on ready and checked/verified.

ASKING $2800.
