I’m putting together a shipment of RB30 blocks from here in Australia where I’ve been living for the past few months.
So far all the blocks are Series II VL Commodore N/A blocks. These are the blocks which have the oil port, and the pistons can be used with the 25/26 head. They come with oilpan, all bearings, crank, rods, pistons.
All the blocks are checked for wear on the cylinder walls, main and cap bearings: all wear is under a thou (as per the pen test). Compression tests are not available, so I cannot verify the condition of anything but that which I’ve checked (as above). All prices in CAD. The motors will arrive at the port of Toronto, but shipping to other parts of the country can be arranged.
The main reason I post now is because if you’re planning an RB30 swap, there are more than likely some other parts you’ve got your eye on and are available in Australia only. If you give me a deposit (50%) on a block, I will mark it as yours and be your contact here to purchase any further parts you may want. I’ll then ship them with the blocks free of extra charge (except any customs charges on the value of the parts).
So far I have:
2 blocks from known well running cars, accidented or swapped.
$750 with deposit, $800 after it’s landed.
1 block stored indoors for some time, and the running condition is unknown.
$650 with deposit, $700 after it’s landed.
1 block which has been sitting outside, and therefore is rusty. It will require a rebuild.
$500 with deposit, $550 after it’s landed.
