i tried looking the old post on craigslist and its not on there anymore.im trying to c if anyone can help me out with a temp job until i make the 250
always jobs at tim hortons! mighty, mcdonalds, arbys by main and transit!
question. why were these tickets not in your hands if you bought them like a month or so ago, i would have never let someone keep them in the box office on me. i would want them in my hand so i knew i had them! mistake one!
i think they may have scaned the ticket and it did not work and told him to go to the window
no email addy or phone number? maybe if you call your cell phone company, they can give you a number that you called in that area code? Try calling the sabres box office and see if the other tickets you bought are canceled as well, then file a police report if they are. Can’t the box office tell you who originally purchased the tickets?
do you have any sort of recipt/email/proof from the purchase?
i can try the cell phone company.he had his number on there so i called n picked the tickets up the next day.we met at might on walden n union.
edit: better yet, i’ll just get my popcorn too…
Judging from antosh’s grammar. He isn’t smart enough to scam you…
cleanbaldy is actually taking this ALOT better than alot of people would…i wouldn’t say he came on here bashing you, which is what most people would have done! all he and everyone else is saying is just take care of him first, and then worry about getting your money back for the original bad deal, which isn’t his problem!
I’m out of popcorn
true story i really did go make some
im not trying to find the guy i baught the tickets from at all.i dont have any of his info and know nothing about him.
parents r no help they tol m eto let him take me to small claims court n say i sold the tickets asis like everything these days and thats really not my fault.the tickets didnt come with a gaurentee even thought there shouldnt of been a problem.im not taking there advise as im trying to get money together
lock this thread its between me and clean baldy none of you
Joe, I have not filed any forms into small claims court. I was saying that I did not want to do that the entire time. I had not heard from you, and I was getting upset.
I also said that I want to help you with the tickets you have, and get you in touch with the person I am dealing with at the Sabres.
Why don’t you call me or answer your phone when I call you, so we can discuss outside of text messages and mail.
The reason I am posting here is in case of small claims court. I do not know you and you cannot blame me for covering myself. I was giving you the benefit of the doubt and still am, until I have reason to think otherwise.
I want to talk to you on the phone to work with you to get the Sabres tickets situation worked out. They already know your name and phone number, the information you mentioned about craigslist to me and I want to give them even more information to help them get to the bottom of it.
No need to overreact. Situations like this happen throughout your entire life, and overreacting makes things worse. I don’t hate you, and I appreciate you texting with me again today. Would it help if I called your parents and explained the situation, or would they say “go F yourself”?
ha
you can call my mom
If it was a car, or something that didn’t hold a value like a TV, couch, or anything of that sort they are right. With Tickets, the value is implied as they are a service guarantee. Your parents would lose in court.
If you called it a “useless piece of paper” then it is as-is. By selling them as tickets, that is what they are. As-is means they are usable. If they are anything but, then it is fraudulant activity.
Maybe I should start selling people tickets that are fake all over, and have fun not getting in trouble? Where did your parents come up with that? Or were they just giving you a line of crap?
If you’d answer this dude’s phone calls and stopped listening to your down syndrome parents he wouldn’t have to make a thread you douchenozzle.
“as-is” tickets, that he didn’t have in his possession? seriously? wow
I have photocopies of the tickets. The Sabres office was very willing to work with me.
I have text messages saved, and this whole post printed out.
The intent to sell, the product in my hand, and the offer to pay me back are all in writing. If I really was to go to small claims, you won’t even need to show up. What would your defense be? The default would go to me, and then an officer would come to look at your bank accounts and check your other sources of income. I’d be guaranteed my money, and that’s all I’ve been looking for.
Im not taking you… just making a huge point!
I just want my $250. I’m getting pressure from my family to take you to court. I don’t want that either.
So he still has not called you?
They were actual tickets that he brought me. When I went to go through the gate, they came up as an error and they sent me to the ticket office. They told me that the owner had called and said they were lost/stolen, and they reprinted him tickets.
I had actual tickets in my hand.
He’s texted with me some more saying he will pay me, but he doesn’t know when. I asked him a couple of times to call so we can discuss, but he hasn’t yet.
He’s only 18. I’m sure he’s probably scared of the idea of going to court being a possibility of showing up on his record. I want to help him find options to get my money, as there are plenty besides asking the parents.
I told him about doing a cash advance from the credit card he paid, and he told me he had cut it up awhile ago and is just paying it off. So, I don’t know if you can do a cash advance on a card you no longer have in your possession. If you can, someone let me know so I can tell him.
