Only $2,000 obo for OLD SKOOL KOOL!
My sister bought this car thinking I had some spare time on my hands to “fix it up” for her…I don’t.
The original plan was to just get it running and give it back to her for the summer so she could decide if she really wanted to spend money on it. The car was running and could have been driven in its current condition (albeit ugly) but the cam broke so I pulled the engine to do the rebuild. The engine is out of the car now. The engine rebuild didn’t deter her but I let her drive my 69 2000 and she realized she can’t see over the steering wheel so she doesn’t want to spend the money on the car she can’t drive.
Please note this is a project car. It needs to be restored but in theory with not much work you could drive it as is.
There are still plenty of parts for these cars from numerous suppliers. Check www.311s.org for lots of helpful information, lists of suppliers and even info on building a stroker or doing a KA or SR swap. Believe it or not the H20 Nissan Forklift engine shares lots of parts with this engine so that is another option for cheap parts if you don’t go the swap route.
As you will note in the sample parts pic, I have meticulously cleaned, labelled and bagged all parts removed from the car so you don’t have to worry about missing parts.
