FS: The NYSpeed Whore / Mustang GT

End of the summer is here, and I’ve got a completely different project lined up. This car was great fun for a few months of Daily duty & a few friendly runs. If it doesnt sell, I’ll just have to toy with it over winter.

3500 OBO with the :tspry: setup
3000 without

Since it was last for sale here I’ve: swapped in a MAF setup (no more pig rich), Autolite 23s (colder for the :tspry: ), Wet kit setup, 28" nittos, put the interior back together a bit, and little stuff.

  • Turbines with good Firestones upfront, 28" Nittos out back. 500 miles on the nittos
  • Stock 91 Bottom end
  • Powerheads E7 heads with recent 3-angle job & seals
  • Trickflow stage 1 cam
  • Edelbrock upper & lower with 76mm Tbody & C&L Elbow
  • BBK Longtubes, x pipe, mac prochambers with dumps
  • MSD 6al, blaster 2 coil, 8.5mm wires
  • Stock A9P with stock 55mm MAF
  • NX wetkit. 10lb bottle, Shark nozzle, Jets from 35 - 150
  • MSD Digital Window switch (3500 - 5800 currently)
  • '86 WorldClass T5, B&M Ripper. Shift’s good. KC clutch - grabs good
  • Motorsports 4.10s with good trak-lock
  • Stock chassis / suspension
I have the rear bench out so that I could mount the bottle in easy reach.
I put about 600 miles on it in the past few months (including Letchworth) and not a single problem. Last three tanks I average 22-25 MPG - including a few WOT pulls each.

The car is decently quick on motor (only 10* base timing). Bump up the timing NA and it’s much more fun.
On the bottle it absolutely moves.

The car Runs 12.5-12.7 @110-111 mph with 1.69 60’ … not bad for a 3100lb car with only 245rwhp
That was a few owners ago, with a pig fat rich map, shorter tires, and on motor. With the 150 shot & MAF its an easy mid-11.

Any rear seat? No actual 1/4 mile times? Thanks.
Pete

Where’s the car located? I’d like to come take a look at it this weekend.

Rear seat backs are in car. Rear bench cushion is in the garage.
I rented out NYIRP for last saturday to get a good set of times, but You can imagine how that went.

On motor with base timing, this car got pulled by a nice 30th anniversary LS1.
On motor with bumped timing & MAF ECU this car pulled a 12.6 second DSM
On spray this car pulled a 11.7x Civic, a 11.6x Mopar, and a few other mid-11 cars that I don’t know exact times of.

Amherst, NY. 14226. 1 minute from UB South, 2 minutes from the uber-popular Might Meet spot.

Bump for a sweet car and a great seller. When nick gets cars he does what needs to be done. GLWS Nickolai. p.s. wonder who the 30th was?!?!?!?!
