my dad has a timeshare with home base in Williamsburg, VA. He has taken ill and even tho we have owned the thing for over 10 years, we have only used it once. This is thru Interval International who has resorts world wide. All you have to do is bank your week with interval and you can use your week wherever interval has a location. This is for every other year. new these timeshares go for 17K and Up. we are looking for 9K. We really are just trying to cut our losses and with my dad being ill, we will probably never use it. Any other questions just ask, if I dont know, i will find them out.

you buy a “piece” of property with a bunch of other buyers and all pretty much take turns using it.
sort of like buying a vacation home for a portion of the actual price, but only using it for X time a year
So for a one time 9k payment, you get a week every other year? Or 9k every other year?

A couple guys here at work have timeshares and swear by them. Your week in Williamsburg might be worth 3 days in Miami or 10 in some lesser location. I’m sure you can get details here:

Jay, your dead on. we have never banked a week so no clue on that. Even williamsburg is sick. Condo sleeps 8. indoor/outdoor pools, basketball court, tennis court, spas, all the shit u want on a nice week away. If we dont sell, depending on what happens with my dad, my wife, the kid and I will start using it but with pops being sick, it will be hard to get away.
I think once the kid is out of daycare I’ll probably look into getting one. GLWS.

colonial williamsburg is the biggest thing. theres also a huge water park close and busch gardens. More info here:

plus you can bank it whenever u get tired of williamsburg and go other places. They have 2200 resorts worldwide.
