edit: if you still have this after christmas I may snag it for gaming… this is the exact tv i was going to buy, just need to see how my finances look after xmas.
edit2: wikipedia HDTV to understand fully - 1080i is the broadcast standard, LCD tv’s don’t display “1080i” it is converting the broadcast standard, in the case of this tv to 720p. LCD’s don’t display interlaced, only progressive
edit3: 720p is more than adequate for a 37" screen - 1080p i don’t think even exists on 37", i think only 40+
edit4: i lied, there are some 37" 1080p’s… really overkill for that small of a display though imo
Well he said he bought it off ebay. I checked on ebay there selling between 4 and 500 hundred for a in the box refurbished unit. They also come with a factory warranty. So lets say he payed $500 we’ll go on the high end. Why should he get more than he payed for a unit when he has used it for a couple months. What happens when you buy something? It depreciates in value, right? I offerd him $375 I think. Sure its a low bid but it is by no means pathetic.
I guess the moral of the story is why should i pay him more for a used tv then it cost him new.
how do you know that he got it refurbished, how do you even know what he paid for it? I think that what he is asking for it is reasonable based on what information he gave us. If you think that it may be refurbished, your post may have been better stated:
$375 if refurbished, is it?
$600 if slightly used.
And he posted that it came from ebay after you made your lowball offer.
Its refurbished. They wouldn’t resell them with warranty if refurbs werent up to par with a new one.
And where the hell do you see $400-500 refurbished tvs with warranty? I see a couple $629.95 BIN + $99 shipping. Thats alot more than $4-500. Then i see some new ones that are $767.77 BIN + $80 shipping. What I paid? $680 shipped. What im asking? Still extremely reasonable. It works perfect.
Again, i dont need to sell it, but if I get near what im asking, why not go bigger?
ok there are the pics. Um didnt find a program on vista basic to resize images so I used paint because I suck at life. Im sure you couldnt tell based on the white bottom and right borders all the pictures have haha. Pics may also be a bit blurry. Just learning to use this camera. You get the idea though.
Hey sure, and after further review, I see 6 screws in the back that attach the base to the tv. The base will actually come off. The first time I tried I thought it was just something you could slide or snap off. So, yes, it will wall mount.
