This is a used Walther PPK-7 replica BB gun. It shoots around 450 FPS (feet per second) The bb’s are 4.5 mm. The pistol is powered by Co2 cartridges placed inside of the hand grip. The pistol used a clip for the bbs just like a real gun. The clip holds 15 bbs, and just slides in. The pistol is bolt action so the slide moves with every shot to push back the hammer aswell as locks back when you are out of amo just like a real gun. This is the most realistic bb gun I have ever seen. The only parts that are plastic is the hand grips, clip release button and clip. What you will get is the BB gun with clip, 6000 bbs and 30 C02 cartridges.
These are air guns that are not powerful enough to cause serious injury or death, but that were designed to resemble a real firearm with near precision. Replica firearms, except for replicas of antique firearms, are classified as prohibited devices.
The Canada Firearms Centre (CAFC) receives many enquiries from people wondering whether a low-powered air gun would be considered a replica if it resembles a real firearm in terms of its shape and size, but it is made of clear or brightly coloured plastic, or is much smaller in size.
Many of these devices have to be assessed on a case-by-case basis. As a general rule, however, those made out of clear plastic and those that are significantly smaller than the real version are not classified as replicas. Brightly coloured paint does not necessarily exclude a device from the definition of a replica. If you have questions about a particular make and model of air gun you may contact a firearms technician by calling 1 800 731-4000, ext 1060.
Legally… as long as you have proof that you bought this before 1998 then you can “legally” keep it, but if you try to Export it or Sell it then you are liable for selling a “Restricked/Prohibited” weapon… When you Transport this “BB Gun” You must folllow all the Rules as if its a Real Gun (So Trigger Lock + Having it in a Box/Bag which has a Lock on the Zipper) when its @ home in your house it must be locked up in a Cabnet with the Ammo “BBs” Locked up in a seperate Cabnet…
