Back to OP. If anyone does buy this, I will do the drive swap for $60 or so ($20 for labor and whatever the replacement drive costs - usually they go for around $40 on EBay but I might be able to find it for less once I take the console apart and see what exact drive is in there - you have to match drives to stay ‘legit’).
